Groovychew Garments (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information when you sign up for our email or SMS updates and how you can exercise your privacy choices.

Information we collect and how we collect it

We collect the email address and/or mobile phone number you voluntarily provide when you subscribe through our website, a signup form, checkout, an event signup, or an advertised text-to-join program, where offered. We may also collect your name and preferences if you provide them. Providing a phone number for an order or customer service does not, by itself, enroll you in marketing texts.

When you subscribe, we record your consent and subscription preferences, including the signup date, signup source, and disclosure presented to you. Depending on the signup method, this record may include an IP address or electronic confirmation. Our messaging systems may collect delivery status, replies, opt-out requests, and interactions with messages, such as link clicks and email opens where tracking is enabled.

How we use information

We use this information to send updates through the channels you choose, including collection launches, restocks, promotions, and Groovychew Garments event announcements. We also use it to manage preferences, answer support requests, measure campaign performance, prevent misuse, document consent, honor opt-outs, and comply with legal obligations. Email consent does not constitute SMS consent, and SMS consent does not constitute email consent.

How we store and protect information

Subscriber information is stored in our business records and the systems of our email, SMS, and hosting service providers. Access is limited to authorized personnel and providers who need it for the purposes described here. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, including access controls. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain subscriber information while needed to operate the program and for legitimate legal, security, and recordkeeping purposes. After you unsubscribe or request deletion, we delete or deidentify information that is no longer needed, subject to applicable exceptions. We may retain limited consent records and a suppression record of your email address or phone number to document compliance and prevent unwanted messages. Retained information is not used to continue marketing to you.

Who we share information with

We disclose only the information needed to service providers that operate the program for us. These may include email delivery platforms, SMS platforms and their messaging delivery partners, telecommunications carriers, hosting providers, and customer support vendors. They may process information to deliver messages, manage consent and opt-outs, maintain systems, and provide program support, subject to contractual and legal restrictions.

We do not sell or rent subscriber information. We do not share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are shared only with providers necessary to operate and deliver our SMS program, or when disclosure is legally required.

We may also disclose information when legally required, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect rights and security. A business reorganization does not authorize a new party to use SMS consent for unrelated marketing; applicable consent and privacy restrictions continue to apply.

Your choices and data rights

You may request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your subscriber information by emailing groovychew.com]. Please identify the email address or phone number associated with your subscription. We may verify your identity using information reasonably necessary to protect your data. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Deletion may be subject to legal recordkeeping and other permitted exceptions, including the limited retention described above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including an appeal of a denied request where applicable. Contact us to exercise these rights; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

To stop marketing texts, reply STOP to any program text. We also honor other clear requests to stop texts, including requests sent to [groovychew@gmail.com]. You may receive one non-promotional confirmation text. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact [groovychew@gmail.com]. Opting out of one channel does not automatically unsubscribe you from the other. You may request removal from both channels by contacting us.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary non-marketing order or account emails. Any separate transactional SMS program requires the appropriate consent and must honor applicable revocation requests.

Children and policy changes

Our subscription program is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided information so we can address it.

We may update this policy and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Changes do not expand your SMS consent without any additional consent required by law.

Terms of Service for Email and SMS Updates

These terms apply to the Groovychew Garments email and SMS updates program. By voluntarily enrolling in a channel, you agree to these program terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. These terms do not govern product purchases, returns, or shipping.

Program and consent

Subscribers receive Groovychew Garments collection launch announcements, restock alerts, promotional offers, and brand event updates through the channels they select. SMS messages may be sent using automated technology and may include SMS or MMS messages.

By providing your mobile number and affirmatively opting in through a signup disclosure, you expressly consent to recurring marketing texts from Groovychew Garments at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Entering your number at checkout without a separate marketing opt-in does not enroll you. You may sign up for email, SMS, or both, and may withdraw consent at any time.

Message frequency and charges

SMS message frequency varies based on product launches, promotions, and events. Email frequency also varies. Groovychew Garments does not charge a subscription fee, but message and data rates may apply to texts sent or received, including MMS. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any Groovychew Garments program text to unsubscribe from the SMS program. Other standard opt-out keywords and clear requests to stop are also honored. You can also request an opt-out at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. After opting out, you may receive one non-promotional message confirming your removal. No further program marketing texts will be sent unless you provide fresh consent.

Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop marketing emails, or contact [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Email opt-out requests are processed promptly and no later than 10 business days. Unsubscribing is free. SMS and email preferences are separate; contact support if you want to unsubscribe from both.

Eligibility and number changes

Only enroll a phone number or email address that belongs to you or that you are authorized to use. You must be legally able to consent to the program. Tell us promptly if you change or relinquish your subscribed phone number, and unsubscribe the old number so messages are not sent to its new owner.

Availability and program changes

Message delivery depends on your carrier, device, and service availability and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may change, suspend, or end the program, subject to applicable law. Material changes will be communicated as required, and we will obtain new consent when required rather than treating a terms update as new marketing consent.

Message content

Our marketing messages will identify Groovychew Garments and relate to the program described above. We will comply with applicable laws and our messaging provider’s and carriers’ content rules. We will not send unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise prohibited campaign content. Links, images, and promotional destinations are subject to the same rules.
